StoiKodex
Ranks and tournaments

Prove your process.

Win rate alone is easy to inflate. StoiKodex ranks traders on how they trade: discipline, expectancy, win rate, consistency and process, from verified trades only.

Five ranks, thirteen steps

Everyone who signs up starts as Rookie 1 and is on the board straight away. Rookie, Silver, Gold and Emerald each have three tiers (Silver 1, Silver 2, Silver 3), and tier 3 is the highest. Onyx is the top and has no tiers. Ranks are recalculated from the last 90 days, so a rank has to be kept.

Under 5 verified trades you are calibrating: no rating yet. Every step needs both the trades and the rating.

Only verified trades count

A rank is worthless if results can be typed in, so typed-in and imported trades stay in your journal but never count. A trade is verified when you closed it from the Live page, the entry price was within $1.50 of the market when you started it, and the exit was a price the market really had in the last 15 minutes. The plan was locked before the trade ran.

That keeps the board honest, and it is also the point of the product: a journal that notices when you follow your plan.

The rating, from 0 to 100

PartWeightWhat it measures
Discipline30%Trades with no rule break: revenge trade, oversize, moved stop, early exit, unfinished checklist, over the daily limit.
Expectancy25%Average R per trade. At -0.2R or worse it scores nothing, at +0.8R or better full marks.
Win rate20%The confidence-adjusted win rate (an 80% lower bound), so a short lucky streak counts for little.
Consistency15%The share of trading weeks that ended in profit.
Process10%Checklist finished, feeling logged, and a weekly review written in each of the last four weeks.

The board shows only your username, rank, rating, discipline and number of trades: never money, notes or emails. You can switch yourself off the board in your profile.

The monthly tournament

  • Free, with no prizes: a place in the hall of fame and bragging rights.
  • Join any time in the month. Verified trades closed after you join count.
  • To be scored you need 10 verified trades on at least 4 different days.
  • The score uses the same five parts, with green days instead of weeks.
  • At month end the results are stored and the top three go into the hall of fame.

What ranks are not

A rank is not a measure of profit and not a prediction of future results. A trader can follow their rules perfectly and still lose, and a rank only shows that the process was sound over the last 90 days. Nothing here is financial advice.
