Prop firm drawdown and consistency calculator
Enter your account's rules and your daily results. See your floor, your buffer, your progress to the target, and whether your best day breaks the consistency rule. It runs in your browser: nothing you type is sent anywhere.
How to read the result
The floor is the balance you must stay above. With a static drawdown it is fixed at your starting balance minus the maximum loss. With a trailing end-of-day drawdown it rises with your highest end-of-day balance and, if your firm locks it, stops at your starting balance. The buffer is how far your balance is above the floor right now.
The consistency check compares your best day with your total profit. If it is over the limit, the calculator shows how much more profit you need, without a new best day, to satisfy it. Read the guides on drawdown types and the consistency rule.
Questions
Does floating profit count?
It depends on your firm. Trailing-intraday rules move the floor with the highest balance reached at any moment, including open profit. This calculator uses end-of-day results, so it matches static and trailing end-of-day rules. For intraday trailing you need your trade-by-trade data.
What does the lock do?
Many trailing drawdowns stop trailing once the floor reaches your starting balance, so it can never go above it. Switch the lock on or off to match your firm's rule.
Which consistency rule does it use?
The common form: your best single day must be no more than a set percentage of your total profit. Some firms measure against the profit target or per payout instead. Check yours.
